London Marathon 2027!

On Saturday 24 April 2027, I will be running the London Marathon for Myton Hospice in memory of my Grandad, John Blackwell.

Myton is a Coventry and Warwickshire-based charity that provides compassionate care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

As one of the many families supported by Myton, giving back to them is hugely important to me.

I started running during my final year of university after dealing with anxiety, and have since completed multiple half marathons and 10ks. The next step was a marathon and where better than London! 

Running has allowed me to challenge my anxiety, prove my resilience and what I am capable of. Although the training will involve early mornings, plenty of rain and very tired legs, I cannot wait to take on this next challenge while supporting a charity that is so close to my heart.
