I’m running London Marathon 2027 for Myton Hospices ❤️

If you’d told me a few years ago I’d willingly sign up to run 26.2 miles, I’d have laughed… then probably gone back to cuddling my cat from the comfort of my sofa.

Yet here we are.

In 2027 I’ll be taking on the London Marathon to raise money for Myton Hospices a charity that will always have a special place in my heart.

Myton cared for my uncle during the final weeks of his life with so much compassion, dignity and kindness. They didn’t just support him they supported our whole family through one of the hardest times we’ve ever faced. I’ll never be able to thank them enough but hopefully I can raise some money to help them continue giving that same incredible care to other families.

Now, let’s address the elephant in the room… I only started running 10 weeks ago to take part in a 5k for Myton this is quite a step up!

So for the next year expect blisters, early morning runs, lots of complaining and probably a few dramatic “I’m never doing this again” moments.

Every donation whether it’s the price of a Redbull or something bigger, will genuinely make a difference. You’ll be helping Myton Hospices continue providing outstanding care and support to people living with terminal illnesses and the families who need them most.

If you can donate I’d be incredibly grateful. If you can’t, sharing my fundraiser or cheering me on is just as appreciated. ❤️

Thank you for believing in me ( Or not, spite will fuel me just as well 🤪) while I attempt to convince my legs that running a marathon was definitely a sensible decision.

Let’s raise some money for an amazing cause… and hope to make it through the 26.2 miles. 🖤🏃‍♀️

It costs over £15 million every year to provide its services free of charge to patients and their loved ones.

As a charity, with less than 20% of its funding coming from the NHS, Myton must raise more than £12 million this year.

Here is what your support could help fund:

• £94 could fund one adult counselling session
• £360 could fund Myton at Home for one patient for one day
• £450 could fund an Inpatient bed for one day
• £545 could fund the required drugs for one patient

Please donate today and help make every mile count for people who need The Myton Hospices most.
