Running for My Grandad. Running for Myton.

If you know me, you’ll know that running a marathon is completely out of my comfort zone. In fact, a little while ago I never imagined I’d even consider taking on 26.2 miles.

But on 24th April 2027, I’ll be running the London Marathon for The Myton Hospice in memory of my wonderful grandad.

My grandad was my hero. He was the kindest, strongest and most respected man I’ve ever known, and someone I looked up to every single day. After being diagnosed with cancer, he faced years of treatment and challenges with incredible courage and determination, all because he wanted as much precious time with his family as possible.

The care and support that Myton Hospice provides to families during the hardest moments is truly priceless. By running this marathon, I hope to honour my grandad’s memory while helping Myton continue to provide that same compassion and dignity to others who need it.

Every training run, every early morning and every mile on marathon day will be for him.

If you’re able to support me, no matter how big or small the donation, I would be so grateful. Your generosity will help Myton continue the amazing work they do for local families when they need it most.

Thank you so much for your support.

This one’s for you, Grandad. ❤️
