I’ll be running every mile for Dad ❤️

In October 2025, we sadly lost my dad after his long and incredibly brave battle with cancer.

Thanks to the incredible support of Myton, we were able to have Dad at home during the final six weeks of his life, where he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. The support they gave to Dad, and to all of us, was truly amazing and meant more than we can ever put into words.

Dad loved sport and was a keen runner. He continued running through much of his treatment and never let cancer take away his love of being active. He also loved football, and his passion for sport is a huge part of why this means so much to me. 

Dad never got the chance to run the London Marathon, although I know it was something he would have loved to do. So when I was given the opportunity to run it this year, it felt only right to do it in his memory and raise money for the charity that supported him and our family when we needed it most.
