I'm taking on The Myton Hospices Santa Dash to help raise £60,000 this Christmas! Please sponsor me today!
We know that’s a lot of money, but with your support, we’re confident we can do it!
The Myton Hospices provides compassionate care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families - both in their Inpatient Units and out in the community.
To continue offering this care free of charge, they need to raise £12.7 million of the £15.3 million it will cost this year.
They are not the NHS - they are a charity, and just 17% of their funding comes from the NHS.
More people than ever need a Hospice Bed, and tragically, too many people on the waiting list for a bed at Myton will die before they can access one.
As the only provider of Hospice Inpatient Beds in Coventry and Warwickshire, the demand is huge.
That’s why I’m taking on The Myton Hospices Santa Dash this Christmas, to raise money so they can be there for everyone who needs them, now and in the future.
To reach this year’s Santa Dash target of £60,000, we rely entirely on sponsorship, and that’s where you come in. Just look at what your support could help fund:
• £360 could fund our Myton at Home service for a patient for one day
• £450 could fund an Inpatient bed for one day
• £545 could fund the required drugs for one patient

Why I’m dashing
Friday 21st Nov I first had experience of a Hospice with my dear Dad. My Dad was so reluctant to go in but was persuaded, then he didn’t want to go home. He felt safe and so well cared for. The staff were amazing - taking full care of not only my Dad but also myself and other family members. I am so grateful to the hospice for that precious time.Thank you to my Sponsors
