I'm taking on The Myton Hospices Moonlight Walk for Tracey - and for every family who deserves the same care and compassion she received!

Why I’m Walking for The Myton Hospices
I’m taking part in The Myton Hospices Moonlight Walk for a very personal reason.
I lost my close school friend, Tracey, to cancer. In the final days of her life, I saw first‑hand the incredible care, kindness and compassion that The Myton Hospices gave — not just to Tracey, but to her family and friends too.
In her last days, Myton arranged a party in her honour and turned it into a true celebration of her life. We lost Tracey the following day, and I will always be grateful for the dignity, warmth and support they gave during such an incredibly difficult time.
The Myton Hospices provide free care for people with life‑limiting illnesses across Coventry and Warwickshire, but this care isn’t free to deliver. This year alone, they need to raise £12.7 million, as only 17% of their funding comes from the NHS. Demand for hospice beds has never been higher, and sadly many people will never get the care they need without support.
I’ll be walking with my friends and colleagues to help Myton continue their vital work, so they can be there for other families just like ours.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it really will make a difference — helping to fund counselling, hospice beds, home care and essential medication.
This walk is for Tracey — and for every family who deserves the same compassion, comfort and care she received. Thank you for your support
