We at Coventry Haven Women’s Aid are taking on the @The Myton Hospices Moonlight Walk (10k) on 17th April 2026.

We are walking in memory of Lucky Basra, our much loved colleague, who we lost on 18th December 2025.

Lucky brought warmth, humour and kindness into Coventry Haven Women’s Aid, and she gave so much of herself to others. The kind of person who made people feel seen, who lifted the mood just by walking into the room, and who should still be here.

So we’re walking under the moonlight to honour Lucky’s memory and to support Myton Hospice Coventry, who cared for Lucky and for so many other people and families with compassion, dignity and humanity, when it matters most.

The Myton Hospices provides compassionate care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families - both in their Inpatient Units and out in the community.

To continue offering this care free of charge, they need to raise £12.7 million of the £15.3 million it will cost this year.
