I'm taking on The Myton Hospices Moonlight Walk to help raise £250,000 amid a national hospice funding crisis! Please sponsor me today!


We know that’s a lot of money, but with your support, we’re confident we can do it!


The Myton Hospices provides compassionate care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families - both in their Inpatient Units and out in the community.


To continue offering this care free of charge, they need to raise £12.7 million of the £15.3 million it will cost this year.


They are not the NHS - they are a charity, and just 17% of their funding comes from the NHS.


More people than ever need a Hospice Bed, and tragically, too many people on the waiting list for a bed at Myton will die before they can access one.


As the only provider of Hospice Inpatient Beds in Coventry and Warwickshire, the demand is huge.


That’s why I’m taking on The Myton Hospices Moonlight Walk, to raise money so they can be there for everyone who needs them, now and in the future.


To reach this year’s Moonlight Walk target of £250,000, they rely entirely on sponsorship, and that’s where you come in. Just look at what your support could help fund:

• £94 could fund one adult counselling session
• £360 could fund our Myton at Home service for a patient for one day
• £450 could fund an Inpatient bed for one day
• £545 could fund the required drugs for one patient

Why we're doing this 🩷

Friday 17th Apr
2025 ended with some big losses for our family.. 💔 My Nan - my last remaining grandparent, 
and my moms dear best friend of nearly 60 years Sue 💔
Fuck cancer.

Both Nan and Sue were in the care of Myton Hospice in their final days. I had heard of how wonderful Myton Hospice was before but had not experienced it first hand. It was so peaceful and lovely, the staff truly go above and beyond, and I am so grateful that this is where Nan could spend her final days 💓

At the end of next week I'll be doing the Myton Hospices Moonlight Walk with my mom, sister and Auntie in Nan's memory, and of course for Sue, and in support of Myton Hospice. If I can help to raise funds that keep this amazing place ticking over and looking after more and more families like they did mine then walking is the least I can do.✨️

In classic jen style I've left it quite late to share for donations.. thankfully my family are far more organised 👀 and have generous friends. But if you can, any donation no matter how small would be so so appreciated 💜
