Headmasters Salon – Walking Together for Myton 💛
We’re the team at Headmasters Salon in Leamington Spa, and this year we’re lacing up our trainers to walk 10k together in the Myton Hospice Moonlight Walk.
As a salon, we’re more than just colleagues – we’re a family. And Myton Hospice is a charity very close to our hearts. Over the years, they’ve cared for many of our own family members, friends and cherished clients with compassion, dignity and incredible kindness.
We see first-hand how deeply our community is connected. The conversations in our chairs, the stories shared, the people we’ve supported through joyful times and difficult ones – Myton has been there for so many of them.
This walk is our way of giving something back.
Our goal is to raise £1,000 as a team to support the vital care Myton provides across Warwickshire. Every pound helps fund specialist nursing, emotional support and end-of-life care for local families when they need it most.
Our salon owner, Keri, completed a five-day trek in the Himalayas in October, raising £2,500 towards an incredible total of over £115,000 for Myton. That experience reminded us just how powerful community fundraising can be and now it’s our turn to step up together.

We know that’s a lot of money, but with your support, we’re confident we can do it!
The Myton Hospices provides compassionate care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families - both in their Inpatient Units and out in the community.
To continue offering this care free of charge, they need to raise £12.7 million of the £15.3 million it will cost this year.
They are not the NHS - they are a charity, and just 17% of their funding comes from the NHS.
More people than ever need a Hospice Bed, and tragically, too many people on the waiting list for a bed at Myton will die before they can access one.
As the only provider of Hospice Inpatient Beds in Coventry and Warwickshire, the demand is huge.
That’s why I’m taking on The Myton Hospices Moonlight Walk, to raise money so they can be there for everyone who needs them, now and in the future.
To reach this year’s Moonlight Walk target of £250,000, they rely entirely on sponsorship, and that’s where you come in. Just look at what your support could help fund:
• £360 could fund our Myton at Home service for a patient for one day
• £450 could fund an Inpatient bed for one day
• £545 could fund the required drugs for one patient
