I'm taking on The Myton Hospices Cycle Challenge to help raise £70,000 amid a national hospice funding crisis! Please sponsor me today!
We know that’s a lot of money, but with your support, we’re confident we can do it!
The Myton Hospices provides compassionate care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families - both in their Inpatient Units and out in the community.
To continue offering this care free of charge, they need to raise £12.7 million of the £15.3 million it will cost this year.
They are not the NHS - they are a charity, and just 17% of their funding comes from the NHS.
More people than ever need a Hospice Bed, and tragically, too many people on the waiting list for a bed at Myton will die before they can access one.
As the only provider of Hospice Inpatient Beds in Coventry and Warwickshire, the demand is huge.
That’s why I’m taking on The Myton Hospices Cycle Challenge, to raise money so they can be there for everyone who needs them, now and in the future.
To reach this year’s Cycle Challenge target of £70,000, they rely entirely on sponsorship, and that’s where you come in. Just look at what your support could help fund:
• £360 could fund our Myton at Home service for a patient for one day
• £450 could fund an Inpatient bed for one day
• £545 could fund the required drugs for one patient
Please donate today and help The Myton Hospices be there for those who need them most.

Pushing Past the 100km Mark for The Myton Hospices
Monday 13th JulHi everyone,
I have decided to take on a massive personal challenge: On August 2nd i will be riding 100 kilometers in the Myton Hospice Cycle Challenge to raise vital funds for an organization that means the world to our community.
To put that into perspective, 100km is roughly 62 miles of pedaling. It means hours in the saddle, tackling heavy legs, unpredictable weather, and some seriously steep climbs. Training has already been a journey of its own, but every time my legs start to ache, I remember exactly why I am doing this.
Why Myton Hospice Matters
The Myton Hospices do extraordinary work. They provide high quality, compassionate care for people living with terminal illnesses, ensuring that their final days are filled with dignity, comfort, and love.
But here is the reality, they need to raise millions of pounds every single year to keep providing these services free of charge. They cannot do it without us.
How You Can Help:
I am taking care of the training and the miles, but I need your help to reach my fundraising target. Every single pound adds up and goes directly toward patient care. If you are able to donate, please click the link on this page. If you can't donate right now, sharing this post with your friends and family would mean just as much to me.
Thank you so much for your generosity.
Wish me luck and see you on the road.
