Get into gear and set your fundraising wheels in motion for our annual Cycle Challenge, taking place from Warwick Myton Hospice on Sunday 2nd August!
Saddle up for the ever-popular 50km, 100km and 100 mile distances.
With rides to suit all capabilities, roll through the picturesque villages of Warwickshire and the Cotswolds whilst supporting your local hospice.
And back by popular demand for our 100 Mile route is the legendary Sanitbury Hill, where you’ll test yourself mentally and physically in our timed hill climb. One man and one woman will be in with the chance of being crowned Myton Champion!
With your help and support, we hope to raise £70,000 from this event which could fund the running costs of our Warwick Myton Hospice for two weeks so we can support more people living with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, now and in the future.
All we ask is to pick your distance, set your challenge and raise as much money as you can in sponsorship for your local hospice!
Once you’ve completed your cycle, you’ll be welcomed back to Warwick Myton Hospice where there will be food, drinks and entertainment.

A new year means another bespoke Myton cycle jersey with a new design to add to your collection! If you donate or raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship you can get your hands on a jersey for free whilst helping us to reach our £70,000 fundraising target!

Sign up online in just a few minutes, whether you're taking part on your own or as a team. Once you're registered, you can invite others to join your team at any time.
2. Raise vital funds
We suggest a minimum sponsorship of £100 per person, and as a thank you for your incredible dedication to fundraising, you will receive an exclusive 2026 Cycle Jersey.
3. Ride for Myton
Take part in this year's Cycle Challenge and have a fantastic time throughout either our 50KM, 100KM or 100 Mile routes, while raising vital funds for your local hospice. Your support will help ensure our patients and their families receive the care they deserve!

🚴🏼 Who can take part in this year's Cycle Challenge?
All routes are open to riders aged 18 and over.
If you are under 18 and would like to take part in the event, please contact The Myton Hospices Events Team at events@mytonhospice.org to discuss this further.
If an under 18 rider is registered, they must name a responsible adult aged 18 or over who will ride with them for the duration of the event.

🗺️ What are the distances and routes?
50KM...
This route has been planned for cyclists of all levels.
Whether this is your first event or the furthest distance you’ve taken on, this route will offer you some challenge with a few moderate inclines and you will cross the finish line with a real sense of achievement!
100KM...
This route offers a greater challenge in distance and some steeper inclines and is a great way to take your cycling to the next level!
If you’ve previously completed our 50km route or have more experience taking on similar distances this is the route for you.
Please note: The 100km route will no longer include the Saintbury Hill climb.
100 Miles....
Back by popular demand, the 100 mile route is the ultimate challenge!
For advanced cyclists looking to conquer a century ride this route is not for the faint-hearted! It includes some major hill climbs, including Saintbury Hill where you will test yourself mentally and physically to complete our timed hill climb.

🗺️ What are the routes?
We are currently updating the routes based on feedback from last year.
- Your 50M route will remain the same.
- Your 100KM and 100 Mile routes will include changes.
- Your 100KM route will no longer include Saintbury Hill.
All routes showcase the stunning Warwickshire countryside.
Routes will be available on Strava two months before the event and you will be notified by email once they are live.
♿ Can I take part using an adapted bike?
Yes. We welcome riders using adapted bikes, including handcycles, recumbents and other specialist cycles.
The Myton Hospices Cycle Challenge takes place on public roads and includes hills, varying road surfaces and rural terrain, so we encourage all riders using adapted equipment to carefully review the route information on Strava in advance to ensure it is suitable for them.

👕 How do I get my exclusive 2026 Cycle Jersey?
Once you’ve reached the £100 fundraising milestone, you can collect your jersey on:
Tuesday 28th July 1pm – 6pmWarwick Myton Hospice, Myton Lane Warwick, CV34 6PX
If you’re unable to attend this collection date, you can collect your jersey on the morning of the event when you check-in.
Jerseys are available in sizes S to 3XL and are limited to those who reach the £100 fundraising threshold.
🏅 Will I receive a medal?
Yes. Everyone who takes part will receive an exclusive Cycle Challenge medal at the finish line to celebrate your achievements and mark the occasion in style.
🏆 What is The Myton Champion?

For riders taking on the 100 mile route, we have included a timed hill climb on Saintbury Hill.
The fastest male and female riders will be crowned Myton Champions and receive a unique winner’s jersey.
To qualify:
- You must complete the full route
- The Saintbury Hill segment must be recorded on Strava
- You must follow the route via the Team Myton club page
- Reckless or dangerous riding will result in disqualification
In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by the quickest average time from the start of the ride to the summit.
This element is designed to add light-hearted competition and should be ridden in good spirit.
⚙️ Will there be technical support?
Due to the large distances involved, it may take time for them to reach you.
If replacement parts are required, please ensure you have cash or are able to make a bank transfer at the time.
🥤 Will there be food and drink available during the ride?
There will be regular break stops along each of the routes.
Water and toilet facilities will be available at each break stop.
A variety of food will also be provided to help keep you fuelled along the route, including fruit, sandwiches, cakes, peanuts and raisins, biscuits, flapjacks and sweets.
We advise you to stop regularly to top up your water bottles and grab a bite to eat. Please ensure you have enough refreshments throughout the ride.
Break stop locations will be confirmed one month before the event.
- 50km route – 1 break stop

- 100 mile route – 3 break stops
❤️ Is there a minimum sponsorship?
No, there is no minimum sponsorship requirement to take part. However, we suggest raising at least £100.
