I’m doing the Moonlight walk in memory of my Dad, who passed away in June 2025. Myton Hospice cared for him during his final days, and they were incredibly compassionate and supportive — not just for him, but for our whole family.

I’m hoping to raise £2,250, which I know is a massive figure. One night in Myton Hospice costs £450, and my Dad spent five nights there, so this feels especially meaningful to me. ✨

If you’re able to join me on the walk as part of Team Peter Gray Legacy, that would mean so much. If walking isn’t possible, any support or donation would be hugely appreciated — every pound really does make a difference.

We're taking on The Myton Hospices Moonlight Walk to help raise £250,000 amid a national hospice funding crisis! Please sponsor us today!


We know that’s a lot of money, but with your support, we’re confident we can do it!


The Myton Hospices provides compassionate care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families - both in their Inpatient Units and out in the community.


To continue offering this care free of charge, they need to raise £12.7 million of the £15.3 million it will cost this year.


They are not the NHS - they are a charity, and just 17% of their funding comes from the NHS.


More people than ever need a Hospice Bed, and tragically, too many people on the waiting list for a bed at Myton will die before they can access one.


As the only provider of Hospice Inpatient Beds in Coventry and Warwickshire, the demand is huge.


That’s why I’m taking on The Myton Hospices Moonlight Walk, to raise money so they can be there for everyone who needs them, now and in the future.


To reach this year’s Moonlight Walk target of £250,000, they rely entirely on sponsorship, and that’s where you come in. Just look at what your support could help fund:

• £94 could fund one adult counselling session
• £360 could fund our Myton at Home service for a patient for one day
• £450 could fund an Inpatient bed for one day
• £545 could fund the required drugs for one patient
