Coventry Half Marathon Frequently Asked Questions
What are the key event details?
The Coventry Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 11th April 2027, starting at 9am.
The start is on Cox Street, Coventry, CV1 5EF.
The half marathon covers 13.1 miles, taking runners through Coventry City Centre and out towards the surrounding countryside before returning to the city.
Participants must be 18 years or older on race day.
How many free Myton places are available?
The Myton Hospices has just 50 FREE charity places available for the Coventry Half Marathon.
To secure a Myton charity place, we ask you to pledge to raise £100 to help support our work across Coventry and Warwickshire.
Places are limited, so we recommend signing up as soon as possible.
Once you have raised your first £25, we will send you a pre-paid registration link so you can complete your registration directly with the event organiser.
Your full fundraising pledge is £100, and to take part on the day you must have raised at least £80 by the event date. We then ask that you continue fundraising after the event to reach your full £100 pledge.
It is your responsibility to complete any required registration by the deadline set by the organiser. If you do not complete your registration in time, or have not reached the minimum fundraising requirement, your place may be withdrawn.
We ask each participant to pledge to raise £100 to help The Myton Hospices continue providing services free of charge to patients and families across Coventry and Warwickshire.
We recommend reaching £25 as soon as possible and then reaching £80 by the day of the event, with the remainder paid into your fundraising page within 6 weeks of the event.
We ask that you make your best effort to fundraise and engage with the event. Every pound you raise will help The Myton Hospices continue providing its services free of charge to patients and their loved ones across Coventry and Warwickshire.
Please note that where there is little or no fundraising activity, we may need to withdraw or reallocate your charity place.
Alternatively, you may choose to purchase your own place directly through the event organiser.
