We know that’s a lot of money, but with your support, we’re confident we can do it!
The Myton Hospices provides compassionate care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families - both in their Inpatient Units and out in the community.
It costs over £15 million every year to provide their services free of charge to their patients and their loved ones.
As a charity, with less than 20% funding coming from the NHS they must raise more than £12 million this year!
More people than ever need a Hospice Bed, and tragically, too many people on the waiting list for a bed at Myton will die before they can access one.
As the only provider of Hospice Inpatient Beds in Coventry and Warwickshire, the demand is huge.
That’s why I’m taking on the Warwick Half Marathon, to raise money so they can be there for everyone who needs them, now and in the future.
To reach this year’s target of £25,000, they rely entirely on sponsorship, and that’s where you come in. Just look at what your support could help fund:
• £360 could fund our Myton at Home service for a patient for one day
• £450 could fund an Inpatient bed for one day
• £545 could fund the required drugs for one patient

Every Mile Matters – My First Half Marathon for Myton Hospice
Tuesday 13th OctI’m taking on a huge personal challenge and running my first ever half marathon to raise money for Myton Hospice!
This is something completely new to me, and although it’s going to be a challenge both physically and mentally, I’m determined to push myself and make every mile count for such an amazing cause.
Myton Hospice provides vital care, comfort and support to people living with terminal illnesses, as well as supporting their families and loved ones during some of the most difficult times in their lives. The work they do makes such a difference, and I’m proud to be able to support them in this way.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to me and would help support the incredible work Myton Hospice does. Every penny will motivate me to keep going, especially when the miles get tough!
