Mena’s Minions - We’re taking on Walk for Myton for our Auntie Mena
We’re taking on the Walk for Myton especially for Coventry Myton Hospice. During a very difficult time for our family and our Auntie Mena, Myton Hospice have been so kind and caring towards us all. They have gone above and beyond for our beloved auntie and our family. We could never really put it into words or do enough to show our thanks but this will go some way to showing our gratitude.
We understand that times are difficult but any little bit of support will go a long way to helping this incredible service to continue.
The Myton Hospices provides compassionate care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families - both in their Inpatient Units and out in the community.
It costs over £15 million every year to provide their services free of charge to their patients and their loved ones.
As a charity, with less than 20% funding coming from the NHS they must raise more than £12 million this year!
More people than ever need a Hospice Bed, and tragically, too many people on the waiting list for a bed at Myton will die before they can access one.
As the only provider of Hospice Inpatient Beds in Coventry and Warwickshire, the demand is huge.
That’s why we’re taking on The Myton Hospices Walk for Myton, to raise money so they can be there for everyone who needs them, now and in the future.
Your support could help fund:
• £360 could fund our Myton at Home service for a patient for one day
• £450 could fund an Inpatient bed for one day
• £545 could fund the required drugs for one patient
